Every now and then, life tells you what to do, and then you decide to follow it and see how it goes...
and so it was...
I made the decision to close the restaurant... not because it wasn't working, but because the problems outweighed the benefits.
Managing so many employees, managing so many customers, managing so many problems, and last but not least, the 25%-30% increase in the price of the high-quality raw materials we used for our dishes.
The restaurant was an excellent driving force for my business... it introduced me to so many people, but it was also a source of so much stress... and so many hours of work that piled up on top of the hours of managing the vineyard, the cellar, and the entire business.
It will be missed, but I will certainly have gained peace of mind.
Without a restaurant, Il Cocco will be a new experience; it will be a place to relax even more and avoid the hit-and-run tourism that plagues so many places...
We want to offer you the opportunity to experience tranquility and recommend excellent restaurants in the area.
We look forward to welcoming you to unwind and experience Podere Il Cocco.
